The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a four-year program that is financially constrained. It covers the most immediate implementation priorities for transportation projects. It is the region’s way of allocating its limited transportation resources among the various capital and operating needs of the area. Projects are recommended by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and the Executive Board approves after public comments are received.
