The Public Involvement Plan (PIP) outlines the importance of, and specific guidelines for, involving community members, organizations, governments, transportation professionals and others in ongoing and future Lake Havasu MPO projects, plans and programs. Included is information about the value of public participation, how it will be accomplished, and what will be done with the results.  

The goals of this Public Involvement Plan are to ensure that:          

• The public body is given the opportunity to participate in the transportation planning process.
• The issues and concerns of residents are given consideration in the selection of transportation investments.
• Transportation investments do not disproportionately burden any population with adverse impacts.
